Project documents stories of Jewish refugees from Arab countries
New oral history efforts are telling the stories of hundreds of thousands of Jews living in North Africa and the Middle East who were victimized and persecuted -- and in some cases forcibly expelled from their homelands -- from the 1940s through the 1970s.
