THIS QUOTE BELOW IS VERY TELLING. IN FACT, ISRAEL WAS VERY LIBERAL IN ALLOWING PRISON VISITS, ETC. UNTIL THEY RECENTLY SAW HOW CRUEL HAMAS/GAZANS WERE TREATING THE SHALIT SITUATION, WITH ABSOLUTELY NO HELP FROM THE IRC. REMEMBER, TOO, THAT FOR MANY DECADES THE IRC ALLOWED THE "RED CRESCENT" AS A MEMBER BUT FORBADE THE "MAGEN DAVID." "The report rapped Israel for stopping Red Cross-facilitated visits with their relatives in Israeli prisons, though it made no mention of the fact that Hamas has refused to allow any contact between captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit and either the Red Cross or his family. Shalit has been held in Gaza for three years since being abducted in a cross-border raid."

I agree that sinking it is not a good idea. However, this melodramatic "supply" is bogus and perpetuates the lie that the people of Gaza are starving and dying of disease left and right. Adequate medical supplies, food, necessities are regularly delivered. If there was real mass starvation or and epidemic you can be sure it would be widely broadcast. The false cries of "genocide" are the sounds of hatred and opportunism.

To Terry Row: The "Professor" didn't question Israel's policies, he browbeat students and violated academic principles. Some people seem to think that there is no boundary to their conduct if it is anti-Israel, and if anyone complains, they claim they are being unfairly accused of antisemitism.

There were heavy AA batteries guarding the death camps? News to me. George McGovern was a US B-24 pilot in WWII. He has commented that he basically passed over the camps to and from other missions, but never got the orders to bomb the camps (forget the tracks, destroy the camps.) I don't see that anyone has let the anti-immigration Repubs. off the hook, or Stalin. But the leaders of the free world surely could have done more.

The court rejected the "sick" claim because of video showing him quite active (when not posing as an invalid.) The conviction in Israel was overturned only because he wasn't the worst "Ivan" only a second tier mass murderer. It doesn't suggest he was the innocent he claims to be.
