"I made the mistake of referring to Sen. Schumer as ‘that Jew’ and I should not have put it that way as this took away from what I was trying to say." Well, yes ... but it was in fact what he was trying to say: that because Sen. Schumer is a Jew, he obviously holds values that aren't found on the Andy Griffith show. It's not what Sen. Schumer believes as a politician that's the problem, it's what he believes as a Jew. Nice.
