George Iverson let me say that to me this... the United States is where I was born, I now live, and consider my home, but Israel...Israel is my birthright granted by Ha-Shem for eternity. Now one thing to note.... if this melting glacier, rising sea level thingy has any merit.... The dead sea is the lowest place on earth... Now... as for that 2bit jerk David... let me just say I am sick to death of you cowardly defenders of your own inaction. I have had so many of you pot-bellied rebel flag waving drunken nit wits tell me... a vetern of service... things like that it makes me queasy in a too much lard in the pancakes this morning queasy. The one thing you learn from a position of strength is you can tolerated the weaker a lot easier... David you have repeatedly brought, you and your buddies, a foul blend to these forums and really I wish, if you're Jewish to learn to keep your mouth (typing fingers) shut for a change. If you aren't Jewish then just leave... you are offensive, insulting, and hateful towards Jews.

Family Guy is an adult show that takes a cynical and sarcastic approach to humor. If you don't understand it don't watch it. You have the choice right in your hand...the remote. This is an outrageous comedy skit by a talented if irreverent group of writers and actors. I laugh thinking about it... If you were offended by this intentionally outrageous and clearly evident spoof then you have lost your sense of humour and THAT could cause serious harm to your soul. There are quite a few times when I disagree with the flavor of the show but it is still a very funny way to take a different look at prejudice and downright stupid situations.

That is the absolute truth. ...the disappearance of the "secular and religiously liberal" American Jew is inevitable due to intermarriage, low birth rates and assimilation... Reform Judaism is destroying the Jewish community... and maybe the Jew too. I can understand wanting to live life to your own beat but, without community there is no real identity and without identity one tends to wander aimlessly through life. Are we really ready for this experiment of life to end for us? Outside influence on the gene pool is not only essential but also beneficial, yet letting go of the traditional identity of a people cause that people not to be. There is strength, purpose, and joy in the traditional unity of the Jewish community and that is what must be preserved if we are to remain an entity unto ourselves... The Jews.

And there are a lot of Jewish charities I don't give to simply because they do more good for the administrators then the needy. I strongly believe in charity Carole, but I am not going to watch greedy men use helpless people as an excuse to make a fat paycheck. Curse the man who gets rich off the backs of the poor.

Carole please don't be so black or white. Orthodox Jewry is the only time tested solid traditional Judaism. There are extremes that call themselves Orthodox but they aren't. They are weird cults...every faith has them, Then there are the wishy washy groups that think whatever they want to do is ok... those we call Reform Jews. I would say, from my limited experience, that Conservative Judaism is the more rational approach, but Orthodox Judaism is the authority. Orthodox Judaism has largely grown in to a hijacked faith where powerfully political Rabbis use pressure position to push for themselves. This is an aspect where interpretation of Torah is used to support their own agendas. Trust me Carole, Ha-Shem will correct all our mistakes. Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Sarah a man with designs of grandeur doesn't want his followers to follow too close. Education is the bane of blind faith. Blind faith is the bane to truth and truth is the bane of the evil one. Education, especially in the sciences can only help a person throughout his entire public and private life. Fear, Sarah, is what keeps the educators of these children from educating them. They don't want to lose power over them.

Milton if you are going to represent yourself as a Semite and a Jew may I ask you to, at least, be accurate? Semites are a particular breed of the human phylum that includes Arabs as well as Jews. I have discovered that there are Jews that aren't Hebrew and Hebrews that aren't Jews. While I try to rationalize all this I do realize that Semitic people are identifiable as a distinct people through DNA analysis. I try not to say anti-semitic because what I really mean is anti Jew. In this case I disagree with several points Mr. Cohen backs, but I wouldn't call him anti-Semitic. Perhaps you mean "not a republican" but that would apply to every non-millionaire with a brain and a sense of independence.

Be that as it may Gary Katz what earthly reason is there for putting a child in a prison? There must be better answers and better solutions. This is a time when we, as Jews, need to seriously remember our commitment to fairness and compassion for others...especially children. Prison is no place for a child...period.
