CAUTION! Observe the 'validity' of the Israelis that weren't there in Gaza. How does one validate at this date? Were that Bedouin firing on the Anzac? At this time, how does one validate or INVALIDATE?

"Peace Now" believes peace is possible now. They believe that the settlements are a major hindrance to peace. I submit that the settlements are a trivial hindrance, if any, to peace. There is NO way, NO way there can be peace as long as the Palestinian Authority retains its pledge to remove Israel and Jews from the territory west of the Jordan [the Zionist entity, not Israel in their lexicon].The Palestinians have had seveeral opportunities to negotiate peace. They do not negotiate because they demand the removal of Israel. Nothing new since 1948 [and long before].

The Noah covenants are interesting but very confusing. Does polygamy, as with Solomon, constitute sexual immorality? And "Justice" is an issue that even the US Supreme Court redefines from time to time. And then ask a Palestinian what constitutes 'justice'?

Tragically NEITHER commentator, and NONE of the non-Israeli governments mention that there need be a mandate that ALL Arab countries accept the right of Israel to exist, that they ALL shift from 'truce' [since 1948] to peace, that they ALL be required to cease demanding the death of Israel and JEWS. There can NOT BE PEACE with knives to the throat of Israel and JEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How does one make a 2 state solution with those who do not recognize the existence of Israel; only a cease fire with Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Iraq since 1948, with a couple of interruptions such as 1967 and 1973, and multiple suicide bombings, and such. And of course there is the PA, whose charter still calls for 'pushing the Zionist entity into the sea', and Hamas, and Hezbola wit the same intent. If someone holds a knife to your throat, how do you shake hands?

Is a statement of loyalty 'undemocratic'? Israel is a Jewish state, a derivative of the books of Moses. I refer you to Numbers 33-50.Israel is now confronted with the question of how many living in Israel are dangerous enemies while having citizenship? Democracy is a somewhat different concept in a country as large as the U.S.A. from a country which is SMALLER than Long Island, the Island to the east of New York City! the destruction of the Twin Towers was a major incident. How would you categorize the effect of comparable destruction in Haifa, or Jerusalem, or Tel Aviv, or...? Finding a way to maintain Democracy AND maintaining the Existence of Israel is a problem that MUST be faced, not with rigid ideology!

If anyone can reach the editor of the NY Times, today's editorial calls on Israel to withdraw. It makes no mention of what MUST be demanded of Hamas. By including death to 'the Zionist entity' in their charter THEY have set the bar at Israel being pushed into the sea, or the total surrender of Hamas. At least the NY Times should\must recognize this.

Why does NO ONE observe that PEACE is impossible as long as Hamas maintains its pledge to eliminate\destroy Israel? The same applies to Hezbolah. And the Abbas government has negotiated with Israel but dwhat is its positions re Israel's existence\survival? Then we have the Arab world citing the UN calling for a cease fire, while ignoring that the UN established Israel, and ONLY Egypt and Jordan have recognized Israel as a nation. How can there be peace if a nation does not exist? Will at least JTA mention this reality? And perhaps Israel will bring this reality into the media blitz.

free press is [or should be] subject to penalties of libel and slander. Would it be appropriate for the IDF, since they are falsely accused, to bring suit in Sweden. This is more than 'yellow journalism', as has been observed many times.
