I was very disturbed by the tone of the question. To me that "reporter" was an ignorant, uninformed, anti-Semite (an oxymoron?). Who is Isreal's negotiating partner, a political group run by thugs, and/or a terrorist group dedicated to the destruction of Israel.? Actually Fatah has never agreed to remove it's stated dedication of the destruction of Israel. Unfortunately, Mr. Obama's answer was evasive to the question. He still sounds and acts like a parochial community organizer. Imagine what Isreal will suffer when/if Judea and Samaria become like Gaza? Mr. Netanyahu has it correct. The Arabs never have had a democratic culture, and need to become acquainted with freedom and a free economy. When Israeli Arabs are asked if they would prefer to live in Israel or the PA, 99% agree to Israel. I believe that most Jews' relationships with Mr. Obama are what I would describe as the "Bernard Madoff Syndrome".

If you view his past statements about Israel, you will conclude, as I have, that Mr. Freeman is an out of closet "anti-Semite". He was the author of the incorrect 12/07 NIE, the one that said that Iran suspended its nuclear program. He is bad for the USA, and bad for Israel. Why this administration stilll believes that "Land for Peace" is a viable solution to the Israeli-Abrab conflict is absolutely foolish! Just look at Gaza, and extrapolate that condition to the West Bank, and it is Goodbye Israel.

I think that many of his anti Israel diatribes indicate a closet anti-Jewish/"anti-Semetic" attitude. Israel doesn't need any more punishment from the Obama adminstration. I don't believe that the Obamanites understand that Israel has no negotiating peace partner, or perhaps never did. What does one say to HAMAS: "When are you planning to destroy us. Can we at least negotiate the time?" Israel is heading towards another "Obamanation".

Look what I found in Article 7 of the HAMAS Charter: Qu'ran Sura 4-56: "And it shall come to pass that every rock and every tree will shout "Muslim, oh Muslim, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come slay him!'" I hope that Mr. Cohen has sufficient understanding of what that phrase means.

Any thought that a peace can be obtained between Israel and the 160,000,000 Muslim Arabs, most of whom wish that a Jewish Israel must be destroyed, is a very naive thought. The Palestinian Arabs have been made pawns in this struggle 60 years ago to inflame the emotions to destroy Israel. At best Israel must be allowed to destroy Hamas, which is a threat to both Israel and Egypt and Jordan. Both Egypt and Jordan are threatened by a Sunni terrorist organization supported by a Shia terrorist country, Iran Unfortunatly for the "Palestinian" Arabs, they have been lead by terrorists and thugs who have exploited them for 60+ years. When the Israelis left Gaza in 2005, they also left an agricultural infrastructure that rational people would have used to create wealth for themsleves. The Arabs immediately destroyed it when they took over the Strip. Proportionality: The Israelis are outnumbered by the Arab Muslims 160 to 5.5, a proportion of 30:1. Should it be that the Israelis "proportional response" should be 30 Arab deaths to one Israeli death? In comparison to the USA the proportionalty ratio is about 56 to one. I think that most of the people of the USA would be quite pistoff if 200-300 Americans where murdered by a terrorist group.

I do not believe that Israel, as we know it as a haven for oppressed Jews will survive this Obama administration. Settlements are a bargaining point, not a barrier to "peace". In the first partition of "Palestine" in the 1920s by the Mandatory Brits, Trans-Jordan was created for the benefit of the Hashemite Tribe. How about this hypocrisy: no Jew is allowed to own property in Jordan. Likewise the PA wishes to create that same provision in the Territories that may become Arab "Palestine". In fact it is a capital offense for an Arab to sell land to a Jew, as one dead Arab recently found out. The fact of the matter is that the greatest barrier to a second (or third) state is the incitement by Arabs against Jews. According to the "Roadmap" the PA was supposed to halt that practice several years ago, but thay have never done so. What we have is a new community service organizer/president that seems ignorant of the facts of this dispute. Both Hamas and Fatah have in their charters the destruction of Israel and Israelis. So with whom does Israel negotiate: the Arabs that have their goal to drive the Jews into the sea and confiscate their property, or the thuggish Abbas/ Palestinian Authority? What is there to negotiate? When do you want to take us out, and how much do you want to steal from us? Not a very wholesome prospect for the Israelis. Can any one tell me when the State of Palestine was formed? Who was its first President? Where was its capital? What were its legislative and judicial bodies, and how were the members selected?
