The fact that the young people are still interested in Jewish activities is very important. However, it is also the responsibility of Jewish communities throughout the world to be aware of the situation in the Former Soviet Union and contribute in any way possible.

We need more articles about Jews in Kazakhstan and other areas where they are isolated. I think that the plan for an on-line distance-learning strategy is an excellent idea. It is important for Jews in all areas of the world to be able to connect with one another.

These constant clashes between the Palestinians and Israelis need to end. While the Israelis are justified in protecting themselves against attacks, and Israeli is the one safe haven for Jews, these clashes need to end immediately. Unfortunately, I don't have a solution to the problem.

The reports on the Middle East are always so one-sided. People always hear about how the Israelis are bombing and killing civilians but they never read about the suicide bombers who blow themselves up in Israeli malls, supermarkets, pizza places. Also, do they expect the Israelis to "turn the other cheek" as Jews have done for over 2,000 years when they were attacked by anti-Semites? No, the Jews have to defend themselves and they target military estabishments and places where members of Hamas and other terrorists are hiding out.
