Ivanka Trump has begun the process to convert to Judaism.
The daughter of real estate tycoon Donald Trump began the conversion process at Kehilath Jeshurun, an Orthodox synagogue on Manhattan’s East Side, Ynet reported Oct. 31.
Trump, 27, is engaged to Jewish businessman Jared Kushner. A former model, she is the vice president of real estate development and acquisitions for her father’s Trump Organization.
The couple will wed next year.

Mazel Tov to the happy couple. Interesting, though, that she is converting as Orthodox as she seems very strong and indeed a feminist (as is Blu Greenberg!) Still, she may be surprised at what she will not be allowed to do.
I hope “The Donald” and her mom, Ivana, are behind her in her choices and wish Ivanka and Jared a happy life together.
? By which standard / measure does Blu Greeberg belong to the “Orthodox [sic]” Jewish-persuasion ?
Conversion is invalid if intended specifically in order to marry.
@Steve, the issue is by no means as clear cut as you are making out, even purely in terms of Halacha.
Generally speaking, we really need to move away from these outdated attitudes towards “those who would cast their lot with the Jewish people”, irrespective of their reasons. There’s not exactly a huge rush to become (or even remain) Jewish, so when a marriage partner does decide to go “the whole hog” and submit to conversion under Orthodox auspices, we could be a little more welcoming. Or would we rather that both adopt the non-Jewish partner’s religion (if any)?
Aha! Ivanka may be converting for love but I wrote about lying for it in my newly released novel, THE SHIKSA SYNDROME, about a Jewish girl who pretends to be a shiksa to catch a Jewish guy. Seems it kind of works
