Krakow complains about Israelis

Authorities in Krakow, Poland have complained about the behavior of Israeli security guards, the press agency UPI reported.Thousands of Israeli students come to Poland each year, mostly to visit former Nazi death camps on school trips with intensely tight security. They also visit major Polish cities like Krakow that in the last decade have made great efforts to honor Jewish heritage. Krakow municipal leaders have recently asked the mayor and police to check whether the Israeli bodyguards violated the rights of Poles by stopping Polish citizens and checking their identities, searching them and even handcuffing them. These activities should only be carried out by Polish police, the municipal leaders noted.
