More than 100 Jewish tombstones were desecrated Friday night in the Jewish cemetery of Pantin, a Paris suburb. A Jewish consistory spokesman said that some 40 tombstones were overturned and some 60 Stars of David were either defaced or smeared. Police said that four youths were arrested Saturday morning in the cemetery’s vicinity and are being held for questioning.
