The Anglo-Israel Friendship League held its inaugural meeting in the Southgate Town Hall ignoring threats from Arab terrorist groups here. The League is composed of non Jewish groups interested in furthering Anglo-Israeli friendship. The meeting was addressed by Sir Stephen McAddon, a Conservative Member of Parliament, and Moshe Davis, educational director of the Jewish National Fund here. About 40 persons applied for membership.
