The regular monthly convoy to the Israeli enclave on Mount Scopus, which is completely surrounded by Jordanian-held territory, went up to exchange the police personnel today after it was delayed two weeks because of the tension following the Israeli reprisal raid on the Jordanian village of Samua.

The convoy, accompanied by United Nations jeeps, made its way through the populated Jordanian streets without incident on its way up to the hilltop site of the old Hebrew University and Hadassah Hospital buildings. The Jordanian authorities imposed no curfew on pedestrians or traffic as the convoy passed through the streets with Jordanians seen going about their business as usual.
