Dr. Leo Baeck, president of the World Union for Progressive Judaism, arrived here by air from London last night. He returned to this country to assume his duties as Efroymson Visiting Professor in Theology at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Cincinnati.

The executive committee of the Central Conference of American Rabbis has re-affirmed its “undeviating support” of the principle of the separation of church and state. The committee said it was “resolutely opposed to the effort of any religious body to seek financial support from the treasury of our federal or state governments.”
