Jews Ordered to Keep Shops Open on Saturdays in Tripoli

The Italian Governor of Tripoli has issued an order prohibiting the closing of Jewish shops on Saturdays in the new part of the town. The order provides that a first offence is to be punished by a fine, a second by imprisonment and a third by the withdrawal of the trading license.
