Rep. Mcfadden Waves Red Flag in Renewed Attacks on Jews

In another of his frequent attacks on Jews Representative Louis T. McFadden of Pennsylvania charges an effort to overthrow the government of the United States for the establishment of “a form of government other [than the Constitutional government.”

Claiming that “an increasing number of Jews occupy high key positions in all departments “of the United States government,” McFadden by way of contrast says the overthrow of the German government by the Hitler movement “was caused by the preponderance of Jews in the German government.”

MENTIONS DR. OLGIN

Representative McFadden’s charges are contained in a discussion of Communistic propaganda activities in the United States which he had published in the Congressional Record of June 25. He charges that “Russian propaganda is freely circulating in the United States,” and gives the impression that Jews are responsible for its dissemination.

Particular mention is made of Dr. M. J. Olgin, whom Representative McFadden terms “a Russian-born Jew, who has a long history of revolutionary activities in the United States. McFadden quotes freely from a recent booklet entitled “Why Communism,” written recently by Dr. Olgin. This booklet, McFadden says, “is a document, only one of many now being freely circulated in the United States, which violates the agreement entered into by the Russian Ambassador, Maxim Lit-vinoff, and President Franklin D. Roosevelt as evidenced by the treaty which was used as the basis to secure ratification by the United States of the Soviet Russian Government.”

Pointing out that there is a “preponderance of Jews in the Russian government,” McFadden says, “Students of radicalism know that the present Soviet government in Russia was organized by aliens and usurpers and not representatives of the thoughts and ideals of the 150,000,000 citizens of Russia.” He also points out that “the controlling body OGPU in 1930 in Russia” consisted of two Georgians, one Pole, one Russian, two Russian Jews, and one Polish Jew. In 1914, he said, the Soviet government was composed of 565 persons, of which 469 were Jews.

“Note the preponderance of Jews in the Russian government,” McFadden says. “It is significant to note,” he continues, “that the recent overthrow of the German government by the Hitler movement was caused by the preponderance of Jews in the German government, in the universities, as lawyers, as physicians, as bankers, complete domination of all exchanges, in commerce, in the theatre, moving picture industry, in politics. And now in the president United States government it is noticed that an increasing number of Jews occupy high key position ## all departments.”

McFadden continues: “I want to remind loyal Americans that it is well to remember the boring-from-within tactics pursued by these aliens ursurpers who pursued tactics in Soviet Russia which caused the downfall of their government and set up the present Communist-Jewish control government which is now in operation.

Russia, and to point out that ### same kind of aliens and ###pers are now at work in the ###d States to establish a form of government other than the constitutional government, and in order to do this they are seeking to paralyze industry, to destroy patriotism, and, finally, to secure the overthrow of government itself in the United States.”
