Leo R. Sack, leading Jewish journalist and member of the Washington staff of the Scripps-Howard news service, today was named United States Minister to Costa Rica.
Word was received by the State Department today that the Costa Rican government had approved Mr. Sack’s appointment. Mr. Sack, who is 44 years old, is a native of Mississippi and has been interested in Jewish affairs for many years.
