The annual Zionist convertion of the State of Maine was held November 10 at Lewiston with 100 delegates and 200 guests present. Sessions were held at Ohel Jacob synagogue. Myer Minsky, president, read reports on the activities of Maine Zionists and announced that the Jews of Maine had contributed $20,000 to Palestine during the past year.
Judge Max Pinansky was elected honorary president. Myer Minsky was re-elected president, Charles Green of Biddeford and Harry Stern of Waterville were chosen vice-presidents, Sarah Cohen of Portland, secretary, and Moe Rudman of Bangor, treasurer.
