The assassination of Israel DeHaan in Jerusalem has aroused great interest here, and the press is devoting much space to the occurrance.
The London Times, commenting upon the murder, states that the political character of the crime has not been established. Official Zionist circles, both here and in Jerusalem, heartily condemn the act.
The Daily Express, of which DeHaan was the Jerusalem correspondent, states that the attempt to turn the funeral of the victimein to an anti-Zionist demonstration failed. Both the Palestinian Government and the Zionist organization were represented at the funeral.
